Author and columnist Ralph Peters talked about his life and career. Topics included foreign policy and combating terrorism. He responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.

Photographs from Mr. Peters' life were shown. Previously recorded video clips were shown of Mr. Peters at home in Warrenton, Virginia, as he described his working habits in his study and as he gave a tour of his library.

Mr. Peters, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, writes a regular opinion column for the New York Post. He is the author of 23 books, including 16 works of fiction (eight of which were written under the pen name Owen Parry). His non-fiction books include Fighting for the Future; Beyond Terror; Beyond Baghdad; Never Quit the Fight; New Glory; and Wars of Blood and Faith. Mr. Peters' latest book is Looking for Trouble: Adventures in a Broken World. close
