In his book he argues that the “war against Islamofascism” currently being waged by the Bush administration is as important for our country to engage in as World War I, World War II, and the Cold War. He defended the Bush administration’s dual policies of preemption and democratization and said that past presidents of both parties have failed to recognize the importance of going on the offensive in the battle against Islamic extremism.
