Former Representative Hamilton and Former Governor Kean spoke about U.S. policy following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the U.S., the findings of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks, and implementing recommendations made by the commission. They had often been critical of government efforts to address lessons learned from the attacks and urged lawmakers to improve efforts to address the commission’s findings.
