Elvis Meets Nixon

July 6, 2010

In 1970, Elvis Presley had a famous meeting with President Richard Nixon in the Oval Office. On the anniversary of Elvis Presley’s 75th birthday, the National Archives held a discussion of the meeting with two witnesses who were present. A video clip of the meeting was also shown.

This program was featured this past weekend on C-SPAN’s American History Television programming that airs each weekend on C-SPAN3.
