Participants spoke about augmented reality (AR) and other applications that might be used in the 2010 elections. AR interactive technology uses live or taped video and adds some explanatory data to it so the user can better understand content, such as the names of the people or buildings in the video. Following a brief introduction by the conference organizer, the moderator Julie Germany introduced the panel followed immediately by questions from her and from the audience.
