Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner talked about their book SuperFreakonomics: Global Cooling, Patriotic Prostitutes, and Why Suicide Bombers Should Buy Life Insurance (William Morrow; October 20, 2009). They present statistics about American culture that many consider controversial as they draw comparisons and find similarities between seemingly disparate cultural situations. Topics included microeconomics and accidental experiments, and challenging expert opinion and conventional wisdom. The guest interviewer was Washington Post blogger Ezra Klein, who had written several articles about their books.

Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner are the authors of Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything (William Morrow, 2009). Stephen Dubner, a former New York Times Magazine writer, is also the author of Turbulent Souls (Choosing My Religion); Confessions of a Hero-Worshiper; and the children's book The Boy with the Two Belly Buttons.
