Activists held a rally in support of equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in all matters governed by civil law in all 50 states. Speakers focused on various issues including repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, ending the "don't ask, don't tell" military excluding homosexuals, passage of workforce non-discrimination and hate crime laws, as well as calling on the Obama administration to live up to its campaign promises.
