Dalia Mogahed talked about Muslim Americans and responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. She is the co-author of Muslim Americans: A National Portrait, a study release March 2, 2009, by the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies. These statistical findings compare the Muslim-American community, including its habits, perspective and beliefs, with the overall U.S. population. She challenged existing perceptions of Muslim Americans, and also discussed how U.S. Muslims compare to those in Europe.
