Ms. Ivins talked about her book Bushwacked: Life in George W. Bush's America, from Random House. She also talked about living in Texas during then Governor Bush's term, as well as her take on the current state of American politics during the Bush presidency. Ms. Ivins told some stories about her experiences with politics and politicians from local Texas councilmen to the President of the United States prior to taking questions from the audience.
