A panel featuring athletes, administrators, doctors, journalists and football industry representatives considered the health safety risks of youths playing football.

DeMaurice Smith talked about changes in professional football to make it safer. He suggested that some of the changes to tackling made in practices in the NFL could serve as a model for college and high school football programs. Tom Farrey moderated the discussion focused on safety risks young people face when playing football.
