Panelists discussed the role of presidential debates in increasing youth participation in the electoral process. They examined how debate format and content could gain more interest from young people by making young people more aware of how issues affect them as well as the context of why young people and others seem to have less interest in politics than previous generations. They also took questions from the audience of students. close
