Christopher Boucek, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Middle East Program Associate, talked about the rise of Al-Qaeda in Yemen. The Yemeni government has conducted raids to rid the group from the country and there is renewed interest by the U.S. government to assist. Mr. Boucek talked about group’s presence in the country and what it means for the United States. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
