Witnesses testified at a hearing assessing the fight against terrorism 15 years after the September 11, 2001, attacks. Witnesses included the former U.S. Ambassador to Turkey and Iraq James Jeffrey as well as terrorism and military experts. The witnesses provided an analysis of the U.S. military strategy to combat ISIS* and offered recommendations for dealing with violent extremist ideologies in the Middle East.
