Mr. Desjardin talked about the battle of Gettysburg and the myths that are associated with the battle. Mr. Desjardin is the author of, Stand Firm Ye Boys from Maine: The 20th Maine and the Gettysburg Campaign, published by Thomas Publications. The book relates the experiences of the 20th Maine during the battle of Gettysburg and their charge down Little Round Top. After his remarks scenes were shown of his book signing.
