Anderson Cooper, a 1989 Yale alumnus, delivered the address to the graduating class of Yale University at their Class Day ceremonies on the Old Campus.

At Yale University, Class Day takes place the Sunday prior to commencement and includes the awarding of academic, artistic, and athletic prizes; the celebration of undergraduate traditions; and an address by a speaker.
