Terry O’Neill talked about the issues that the National Organization of Women (NOW) believes will influence women voters in the 2012 elections. She also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. Topics included the economy, Medicare and Medicaid, reproductive rights, and controversial Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin’s inaccurate statement on rape and pregnancy.

At the end of the program C-SPAN showed the scene inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum of construction workers preparing for the Republican National Convention.

Ms. O’Neill participated from Virginia Beach, Virginia. close
