At the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Mark Steyn received the 2005 Henry Salvatori Prize at an annual dinner in honor of Sir Winston S. Churchill by the Claremont Institute. He talked about his vision of where the world might be in a decade. Among the topics he addressed were gun ownership in England, socialized healthcare in Canada, and the “undocumented” American community. Following his remarks, he responded to questions and comments from members of the audience.

Mark Steyn’s columns appear in papers and periodicals around the world, including the Chicago Sun-Times, Toronto Globe, Atlantic Monthly, the Daily Telegraph (London), Jerusalem Post, the Irish Times, and National Review. Mr. Steyn’s most recent book is the soon to be released, America Alone: Our Country’s Future as a Lone Warrior.
