Women authors talked about the importance of writing biographies about women, and recounted some of their experiences pertaining to the researching and writing of women’s biographies. After their individual presentations they participated in a joint question and answer session. Munker, co-author of Daughter of Persia, moderated the session. Bernikow is the author of Bark If You Love Me: A Woman-Meets-Dog Story. Moore is the author of The White Blackbird: A Life of the Painter Margarett Sargent by her Granddaughter. Painter is the author of Sojourner Truth: A Life, A Symbol. Cook is the author of Eleanor Roosevelt in two volumes. close
