Democratic Governor Jim Doyle and his Republican opponent, Representative Mark Green, debated a number of issues including the state of the economy, U.S. trade policy, and immigration.

The debate, sponsored by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Foundation, was held at the WMVS-TV studio. The panelists were: Terry Sater, WISN-TV Milwaukee; Joy Cardin, Wisconsin Public Radio; Scott Hackworth, WXOW-TV La Crosse, Wisc.; and John Laabs, Wisconsin Broadcaster’s Association Foundation. close
