Former Republican National Committee chairman Ed Gillespie talked about his book Winning Right: Campaign Politics and Conservative Policies, published by Threshold Editions. He provided an inside look at the Republican Party and campaigning. Mr. Gillespie was chairman of the Republican National Committee during the 2004 election cycle. He was also a strategist for Elizabeth Dole’s successful Senate campaign in 2002 and served as an aide to Rep. Dick Armey of Texas. After his presentation Mr. Gillespie answered questions from members of the audience.
