Committee members heard testimony from former Arkansas officials concerning an April 1985 campaign fundraiser hosted by Mr. McDougal for then Governor Clinton. They testified as to whether Governor Clinton awarded Mr. McDougal and other contributors with state leases of real estate which they owned, particularly office space for the state housing authority. This was the first day in a resumption of the Special Whitewater Committee hearings through 14 June at the latest. close
