Mr. Snow briefed reporters and answered questions about a number of issues including U.S. counterterrorism policy, a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah forces in Lebanon, and British law enforcement efforts leading to the arrest of several suspected terrorists. He also said that the president did not intend to endorse the Republican Party candidate for the U.S. Senate at the request of the Connecticut Republican Party.
