President Barack Obama delivered the Weekly Presidential Address. He talked about the bipartisan agreement that Congress reached this week which prevented a middle-class tax hike, congratulated the newly sworn-in Members of Congress, and said he looked forward to working with the new Congress in the new year to “cut spending and raise revenue in a manner that reduces our deficit and protects the middle class.”
