Mr. Cronin talked about the book he co-authored, The Wearing of the Green: A History of St. Patrick’s Day, published by Routledge. He explained the origins of the celebrated day, the history of St. Patrick, and how the day has been transformed into current U.S. celebrations. After his remarks he answered questions from members of the audience. 

The book is co-authored by Daryl Adair.
