Lynne Cheney talked about her book, We the People: The Story of Our Constitution (Simon and Schuster Children’s Publishing; September 9, 2008). Her latest children’s book is about the drafting and enactment of the U.S. Constitution. Greg Harlin, who illustrated the book, talked about the process of illustrating a book to the group of 5th graders at the Independence Visitor’s Center in Philadelphia.

Lynne Cheney, wife of Vice President Dick Cheney and senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, is former chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Her books include, Telling the Truth, America: A Patriotic Primer, and A Time for Freedom.
