Mr. Durbin joined the discussion briefly by telephone. In the next segment, Mr. Westbrook talked about the link between the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and presidential poltics. He also provided a tour of several areas of the hotel. The 1997 inauguration ball will be held there. In the final segment, Mr. Thomma previewed the state and local elections occurring around the nation.
