Secretary Cisneros talked about the effects of the government shutdown on HUD and other agencies. In the weekly segment on the Internet, Mr. Traphagen and Prof. Boyle debated intellectual property rights and proposed legislation that would affect the Internet. The “Web Site of the Week” was the Smithsonian Institution. Mr. Mitchell showed some of the artifacts from his collection at the Foundation for African-American History.
