Ed Vulliamy is the author of Amexica: War Along the Borderline. Charles Bowden is the author of Murder City: Ciudad Juárez and the Global Economy’s New Killing Fields and the co-author of Dreamland. Malcolm Beith is the author of The Last Narco: Inside the Hunt for El Chapo, the World’s Most-Wanted Drug Lord. Moderator Ricardo Ainslie is a psychoanalyst who has made the feature-length documentary film Ya Basta: Kidnapped in Mexico.

The program “The Drug Wars: Dispatches from the Border” was held in the C-SPAN/Book TV Tent of the Texas Book Festival. The program closes with scenes from the festival. close
