Walid Phares talked about his book, The War of Ideas: Jihadism Against Democracy, published by Palgrave Macmillan. He questioned the motives of those calling for jihad against the West and assessed whether they are winning. He talked about definitions of terms, current global conflicts, terrorism, and geopolitics. After his presentation he responded to questions from audience members.
