Officials spoke to reporters about the results of 27 chemical and biological warfare tests undertaken during the Cold War. The tests were part of “Project 112” and took place between 1962 and 1973. They also talked about the historical context under which the test were taken, concerns of veterans who participated in the tests, and the purposes of the tests. Following their remarks they answered questions from the reporters. close
