Mr. Renehan talked about his book The Kennedys at War, 1937-1945, published by Doubleday. The book revisits the Kennedy family living in London during the 1930s where Joseph Kennedy, Sr., was serving as U.S. ambassador to England during the buildup to World War II. The Kennedy family underwent dramatic personal changes throughout this period of time such as the death of Joe Jr., the lobotomy of Rosemary, and the transformation of Jack Kennedy from playboy to politician. Mr. Renehan also responded to questions from members of the audience. close
