Researchers spoke about the results of two polls, one on opinions of African-Americans, the other on how the African-American community would fare under the Bush or Gore economic plans. The polls looked at differences between attitudes amongst whites and blacks, trends in economic circumstances, and voter priorities for the 2000 election. Following their remarks, they answered questions from the audience. close
