Mr. Goldfarb talked about his book Perfect Villains, Imperfect Heroes: Robert F. Kennedy’s War Against Organized Crime, published by Random House. Mr. Goldfarb discussed his experience working for Robert Kennedy as a special prosecutor in the Justice Department’s Organized Crime and Racketeering Section. Mr. Goldfarb argues that the mob killed John F. Kennedy because Robert Kennedy was aggressively going after them. He also talked about the portrayal of the mafia on television (The Sopranos) and in the movies (The Godfather). After his presentation Mr. Goldfarb answered questions from members of the audience.
