Barbara Kingsolver talked about her book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life, published by HarperCollins. She described her family’s year-long attempt to eat only food they grew themselves or purchased locally. She encouraged readers to follow her example and provided tips on how to support sustainable agriculture. She showed many photographs from the book. After her presentation she responded to audience members' questions.
