Bono spoke about his recent trip to Africa and about the AIDS pandemic on the continent. Among the issues he addressed were the levels of international commitment to fighting the disease, high costs of drugs for treatment, and the stigmatism attached to the disease in African countries. He also answered questions from the audience.
