A panel of White House insiders during the Nixon administration talked about how Chief of Staff Bob Haldeman organized the Office of the President for efficient management. They discussed how President Nixon was briefed, scheduled, and moved through events and around the world. Topics included juggling the many roles of the president so that he could focus on the matters only he could handle. The panelists accompanied their presentations with pictures, charts, and videotaped remarks from David Parker, president of the American Gas Association, who also served in the White House. After their presentations they responded to questions submitted over the Internet.
