Senator Lieberman, ranking member of the Senate Government Affairs Committee, talked about a General Accounting Office report on the use of pesticides in U.S. schools. He reported that potentially dangerous chemicals are sprayed in schools and even in classrooms. He said he has asked the Environmental Protection Agency to study the exposure of children to pesticides in schools. Mr. Feldman talked about the activities of his organization. After their prepared remarks they answered questions from the media.
