The Leadership Council of Inter-American Summitry is an independent, nonpartisan group that studies and critiques the summit process. In a preliminary meeting, members presented a report on issues of the upcoming Summit of the Americas, which will focus on free trade. Ms. Rice spoke briefly, after which Ambassador Maisto answered questions from audience members. close
