Stuart Taylor talked about the book he co-wrote with K.C. Johnson, Until Proven Innocent: Political Correctness and the Shameful Injustices of the Duke Lacrosse Rape Case, published by Thomas Dunne Books. Mr. Taylor talked about the legal issues surrounding the Duke University lacrosse rape case, arguing that political correctness was responsible for the presumption of guilt in that case. He related the history of the case including the fact that the charges were dropped and the district attorney was disbarred. Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General Victoria Toensing commented. After their presentations the participants responded to audience members' questions. close
