Victoria Nuland talked about the future of Ukraine and what the U.S. could do to help defend the nation’s sovereignty. November 21, 2014 marked the one-year anniversary of protests that led former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to flee the country. Ms. Nuland said the economic sanctions against Russia were working combined with the drop in oil prices and Russia’s complete reliance on hydrocarbons to support its economy. close
