Dan Mullaney, the U.S. chief negotiator, and Ignacio Garcia Bercero, the European Union chief negotiator, spoke to reporters after the third round of Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership free trade negotiations. The agreement would expand trade between the U.S. and European Union, reduce non-tariff trade barriers and stimulate new business and job growth. Topics included trade barriers, tariff eliminations and government procurement. Chief U.S. Negotiator Daniel Maloney said that the list of sectors to be included was not closed but included items like automobiles and textiles.
