Martin Schulz, President of the European Parliament delivered remarks on U.S. -Europe relations. He said he supports a free trade agreement set up by 2015, between United States and the European Union. Together, Europe and the U.S. account for about half the world’s economic output and nearly a third of world trade. Mr. Schulz also spoke about the need for the United States and European Union to work together on challenges relating to financial market regulations and economic recovery. close
