Panelists discussed many of the issues on which national debate has been promoted by litigation and public education from the American Civil Liberties Union. Topics included national security issues of policing and torture, public safety and policing, freedom of thought, campaign finance, civil rights, health care, reproductive rights, academic freedom, and same sex marriage. The panelists also responded to questions from members of the audience.
