Treasury Secretary Jack Lew talked about business investment. He described the state of the global economy, citing improvement and the need for greater demand to increase economic growth. He also urged Congress to pass an immigration bill, reform the tax code, and repeal sequestration budget cuts. Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker made opening remarks, “The U.S. Is Open for Business,” about the Obama administration’s efforts to encourage business investment.
