Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin spoke to reporters and answered questions on his recommendations for the war in Afghanistan. He recenty traveled to the country the previous week with Senators Jack Reed and Ted Kaufman. Among the issues he addressed were the future of U.S. troops, the training of Afghan forces, and NATO’s role in the recent Afghan elections.
