Senator Biden talked about U.S. policy in Iraq. Topics included his bipartisan plan for ending the war in Iraq, the cycle of revenge in Iraq, forging a political settlement, dividing oil revenues, and U.S. military personnel morale. After his speech he responded to audience members' questions and then mingled with the audience.

As of January 2007, Senator Biden will be the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He is also the co-chairman of the Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Control.

This was the first event in the Council’s Presidential Leadership Series. It was co-sponsored by the International Law Section of the New Hampshire Bar Association and took place at Southern New Hampshire University. close
