Senator Jack Reed, a member of the Armed Services Committee, was interviewed about the amendments on Iraq war policy that currently are being debating by the Senate during its two-week consideration of the 2008 Defense Authorization Act. Senator Reed co-sponsored legislation aimed at the pullout of U.S. combat troops by April 2008. He recently returned from his 10th trip to Iraq. Other topics included Iran and Afghanistan. close
