Former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf spoke about relations between the U.S. and Pakistan. Among the topics he addressed were tensions between the countries over drone strikes and U.S. counterterrorism strategy. He also said he knew nothing about Osama bin Laden’s presence in the country while in power, and cited U.S. relations with India as one reason for the deteriorating relations. He indicated that he planned to return to Pakistan in 2012 to seek another term as president. close
