Daniel Markey talked about President Bush’s meeting on Monday with Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani, Pakistan’s role in fighting terrorism, and the increased role Pakistan is playing in the U.S. Presidential campaign. Mr. Markey also responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. Prime Minister Gillani is expected to meet with other members of the Bush Administration, as well as Senators Obama and McCain.
