Members of the Overseas Advisory Panel talked about their findings that appraised U.S. presence in other countries. Their report concluded that a strong presence internationally was still in the best interests of the U.S. They spoke of the effects of globalization on economics, medicine, technology and many other fields, as well as the need to update rules and regulations. Another recommendation was increased security of U.S. tourists and of embassies. Following their prepared remarks, they answered questions from the audience. close
